Not my best outing

These 7am-10pm days are quickly becoming the norm.

Had our first practice today, and it was a little disappointing for me. I had a couple mental mistakes and a fumbled exchange which is unacceptable. It’s especially frustrating because that’s so out of character for me. As long as I can remember playing football, even if I wasn’t the strongest or fastest guy on the field—I was the one that didn’t make mistakes. It’s been one of my greatest assets as a player and I think a large part of my success. I need to get back to that point, and the best way for me to do that right now is to understand the playbook.

It’s extremely difficult trying to learn this gigantic playbook is such a short time, and even worse is that there’s very little down time that I can utilize to study on my own. ::sigh::

All I can do is try my best to be better next time. Hopefully things will start to click as I get more comfortable in the system, and then I can really show the coaches what I can do.

.

It’s been a while, so I think it’s time for another installment of my List of Suck…

  1. Keep your head up, things will only go up for you.

  2. Hey Issac,

I’m from Minnesota too now living in San Diego and a big chargers fan. I went to training camp the other day and you look good. I think you are a fan favorite to make the team. Once you get some free time in SD you gotta try surfing, so much better than snowboarding. Good luck man.
